another thing, if they had continued with that storyline they could have easily had brock ash and misty go to different regions to find new pokemon. They didn't need to change it up just because they came out with new pokemon

I really like how brock was a simp for nurse joy and officer jenny, and every other girl. it was more comedic relief even tho there was already enough comedy. the newer shows definitely have much much weirder stuff
