I think what it should be instead is
Once you get on the top 250 leaderboard you get the ability to use that feature, if you fall off, then you lose the privilege to have a customized icon.

Hmm maybe- but again that might not be fair to users who get pushed off the board by new users when they've worked really hard- what if when you get pushed off you cant request new ones, but you can still use the ones that've already been approved- if that version even happens- but the idea of only the top 250 kinda seems unfair, considering there are alot of new users who havent really worked to get up there- and it would make getting up there way more competitive then it already is, especially if you lose the privilege when you fall off

true- but customized icons are highly requested, and you could even put it to you can only request a new only every __ months, to limit the amount of work needed.

I think it should be:
-Over 250k-500k points
-Site/Global mods approve
-If you submit 5+ NSFW images to be put as a pfp that are clearly NSFW, you should get a 1 month ban from using the options so that it doesn't overload the mods

Well i think if you submit even one nsfw image then you should get a ban- maybe for like 2 months, and if you do it again it doubles

yea that's probably better so that there are no trolls doing the same thing constantly
