Trump's major sychophants e.g. Giuliani held a 'war room' there that night, as too did Alex Jones. Each of which they, along with their cohorts, were plotting ways to keep Trump in power even though they knew he legitimately lost the election.
John Eastman, a Trump lawyer, who devised a 6 point plan for Pence to illegitimately undermine the Electoral Vote count was in attendance that evening (in Jones' war room) - which Pence, under advisement from former high ranking judical and governmental officials, rightly refused to follow on Jan 6th - as too were Oath Keepers, Proud Boys and Roger Stone (who'd previously been convicted for criminalities that Trump pardoned days before the end of his Presidency).
January 6th insurrection was, without a doubt, a massive GOP conspiracy designed by and originated by Trump and his loyalists to retain power at any cost. It's truly sickening to see how many and how easily GOP Senators and Reps can be corrupted, who know the truth but refuse to tell it for their own self serving interests
