Employers like Dave Ramsey have to follow real laws when making employee rules. Unfortunately, he is not following them. Righteous living is a violation of very good laws that have really good intentions and work for everyone in the for-profit world. Mr. Ramsey can simply file a 2-month notice to lay off his employees for the reason he won't be able to follow those laws that he is breaking. His rules are simply not legal one way or the other. He isn't being sued over birth control or abortion issues. He is being sued for invasion of privacy, violating someone's sex life, firing someone simply for being a Lesbian or other Sexual orientation, and firing someone for being unmarried and pregnant with illegal marital leave rules. Dave Ramsey doesn't pass the nonprofit test. He can settle the lawsuits for a flat amount per person and shut down operations and he can pay his family an equal share of the company is worth after paying out severance checks and Federal taxes. Dave can go to work for his son-in-law where he won't be able to dictate his own religious views onto others.
