The Village was dark and eerily silent... All the remaining villagers seemed to be either hiding like cowards in their homes, which were, mind you, NOT zombie proof, eaten, or joined the ranks of the zombies. Shisuki was the only one that looked like they were actually outside. When did this start? No one knew... Well, to your knowledge, at least. But there IS a rumor that whoever owns that iron house knows a little something about creatures that people DID believe to not exist, such as Zombies... 'Crazy C' they called her, for no one EVER believed her knowledge. But perhaps this might be the perfect time for her "crazy" knowledge...

Shisuki: *knocks on the door and waits patiently*

There was a silent pause, then the door swung open, and someone pulled them inside, and the door locked behind them, trapping them in a pitch-black room.

A light flashed on, and the sound of someone walking around them was the only thing they could hear(the light was too bright to see anything)

Shisuki: *groans and squints in the bright light* So. Your Crazy C. What’s your real name?

"Hm..." She continued walking around them. "Why do you wish to know?"

Shisuki: Idk, just asking… *stops squinting* Where’s my corgi?

"Cor-what now?"

Shisuki: It’s a type of dog.

"Probably eaten by zombies, honestly." She removed the light from their face, revealing her face. (disclaimer: not my art)
"Why would you bring a dog out into a village of zombies?" She sighed.

Alright, I must remeber my training: Kill the infected, save the innocent.

You started walking through the village, but no one was anywhere, not even any zombies... Did they just wander out of the village...?

From what it looked like, the iron house seemed to be zombie proof. Perhaps there was someone inside that could help clear the virus...?

I think I can get some answers at the iron house.

As you were thinking about this, someone in a nearby alleyway started making a deep, hellish moan from behind you. As you turn around, you see a zombie slowly limb out of the alleyway...!

*I begin to fire at the zombie*

It was a clutch move... You hit the zombie with a headshot, with your very last bullet, too. The zombie fell backwards onto the cold ground, dead.

Well, I just hope I can use whatever is avaiable to me now.
*I put the Glock 17 away*

As you turn back around and put the Glock away, you only then realize that there's a clear path straight to the iron house. It's a little ways away, but you could probably make it in 10 minutes if you ran...

*I begin to run to the house*

"But it'll also slow ME down, I hope you realize-"

How so?

"beeeecause I'd be responsible for you?"

Look, like it or not, somebody is going to start Carpet bombing this village, so I can't let a single pistol, rifle, or shotgun go to waste.

"No one is bombing MY village. I have lived, led, and protected this village for centuries! I ain't leaving because of some stupid zombie invasion."

Its not my control, A military team will arrive within 72 hours after first infection.

"Well." She walked to a wall, and took an elemental sword from the wall. "Then This is where I'll die!"

They'll arrive and get everyone else out of this village, they'll deal with the undead as well. If the rescue fails, there will be another attempt in 24 hours, if it looks like there's any survivors.

"I'm pretty sure I'm the only remaining survivor at this rate..."

If the military finds no survivors, then...

"Yes, except these zombies don't stop anything. They only eat."

The mutants can claw through iron doors, and heavy doors just to tear into safehouses and tanks.

"These zombies, however, cannot. They can't open iron door, and they do not have the intelligence to open a normal door, much less a heavy one."

Some mutants can stalk you silently, and if you can't tell the difference between a plant and the mutant, you will only hear your screams before you die...

"Zombies are silent unless they found prey. Then...-" She goes quiet as they listen to the hellish moans from the zombies outside, scratching at the iron door. "They make that moan."

Only one mutant can blend into the shadows, only one has eyes as black as the night, only one has no sound, only one can be a flanker. That mutant is the black mutant.

"Scary."

The other three aren't as quiet, but are still leathal.

"Jeeze. I'm surprised you've made it this far-"

I am as well, cause they can detect you from about halfway across the city, they can smell your fear, and they can hear your breaths.

"Huh."

It's an underground city, and I can contact them to get everyone who isn't infected out of here.

"Here? You mean this village?"

*I grab my Communicator attached to a utility belt*
I can get us all out of here!

She looked out the window. "Not with those wandering my yard," She pointed to the zombies.

Mind you, there was like... WAY more than there was an hour ago(in the rp)...

"We're getting into a Class 3..." She went and opened a closet, which had a sniper rifle in it. She brought it back. "If this doesn't stop soon, we'll be in a Class 4!"

CVPA is set up for class 7 shit.

"Do you know the differences between the classes for zombies-"

Not really, all I know is that I have a gun and I will never stop killing with it.

"But! Let me explain." She opened the book again that she had earlier, and read from it.

" 'Class 1
This is a low-level outbreak, usually in a Third World country or First World rural area. The number of zombies in this class of outbreak ranges between one and twenty. Total human casualties (including those infected) range from one to fifty. The total duration, from the first case to the last (known), will range between twenty-four hours and fourteen days. The infested area will be small, no larger than a twenty mile radius. In many cases, natural boundaries will determine its limits. Response will be light, either exclusively civilian or with some additional help from local law enforcement. Media coverage will be light, if present at all. If the media is present, look for common stories like homicides or "accidents." This is the most common type of outbreak and also the easiest to go unnoticed.

Class 2

Octoling mutants, five varrients. The Red ones are the sprinters, faster than the others, the Blue ones are like Harran's Virals, recently turned, no longer around, the Grey ones are the tanks, they take much more damage than the others, I already told you about the Black ones, so that leaves the Sanitized ones, they take the current varrients today, and they use every skill they have, Stealth, Strenght, and Speed. Making them the main priority for Anime Cartel to bring out of the quarentine zone, even though they got out.

"Yeesh-"

I know, but thankfully, and somehow, I managed to get to City 5, where I became a unit of CVPA, City 5 Protection Agency.

"Yeah pretty much."

"Right now we're stuck in a Class 2, almost a Class 3. If we don't stop it soon, we'll be in a Class 4. It'll start leaking into the neighboring villages and towns... Then we're REALLY screwed..."

Alright, you got any 9mm rounds?

"I might," She answered. She walked over to the other end of the room, and opened a door, which revealed a staircase that led both up and down. "We could check in the basement. I also have plenty of acid down there too. Those make it very easy to kill zombies."

I always use sharp melee and strong guns, I just need to aim for the neck/head.

"Only the head will work. Destroying the brain is what kills 'em. But throw a bottle of acid at them and it burns the zombies to a crisp," she said as she started walking down the stairs into the basement, which was only lit by candle light.

*I turn my flashlight on and I can see to the end of the area*

There was a little desk with potion brewing stuff on it, and it looked like she was MAKING acid...?

There were also swords and guns and spears and all kinds of weapons hanging on the walls, and cabinets filled with ammo of all kinds.
"Have at it," she gestured to the cabinets and the walls.

*I only take shotgun slugs and 9mm bullets, then I take all the rifles, shotguns and pistols then put them in my backpack*

"You sure you wanna take ALL of those?" She asked. "The backpack will slow you down."

I'm a scavenger, I travel with a Special Force Recovery Unit team and collect things like abandoned guns and glass, I can handle the weight.

"It is in my defense, that you were reaching for a gun," She gestures to your shotgun. "No one said I was intending on harming you."

Then why was I pulled in here?

She walked over to a curtain and moved it to look out a window. There were more zombies wandering outside now there there was earlier.
"Zombies. We're in a Class 3. You got pulled in because I don't need zombies at my door."

I can handle my own, I survived around Inkopolis, during the Inkopolis Incident, an outbreak that is never forgotton.

"Well, this is much more than an Inkopolis incident. This is a Class 3 Zombie apocalypse. Can your ink-guns drown a zombie? No. Wanna know WHY? Because they have no circulatory, respiratory, or ANY kind of system." She said.

"And you know what CAUSED this virus, young Octoling?"

Yeah, I got it, brought in by some terroists or made in a lab, and the Inkopolis Incident was complete ape-shit once the mutants showed up, Ink based weapons didn't work on the undead, nor the mutants, you would either have to rely on actual firepower, or your stamina.

"Actually, It wasn't brought by a terrorist or created in a lab," she corrected him. "The virus is called "Solanum" and there's no actual PROOF where it originally came from. It could have been from nature. Maybe someone DID make it in a lab. No one knows. But-... Let me read it to you, actually," She pulled a book off of a shelf, and read aloud. " 'Solannm works by traveling through the bloodstream, from the initial point of entry to the brain. Through means not yet fully understood, the virus uses the cells of the frontal lobe for replication, destroying them in the process. During this period, all bodily functions cease. By stopping the heart, the infected subject is rendered ''dead." The brain, however, remains alive but dormant, while the virus mutates its cells into a completely new organ. The most critical trait of this new organ is its independence from oxygen. By removing the need for this allimportant resource, the undead brain can utilize, but is in no way dependent upon, the complex support mechanism of the human body. Once mutation is complete, this new organ reanimates the body into a form that bears little resemblance (physiologically speaking) to the original corpse. Some bodily functions remain constant, others operate in a modified capacity, and the remainder shut down completely.' There you go."

So, if you get bitten or their blood gets into your blood, you are infected.

"Yes, but if you get bitten, it takes a while for the infection to get to your brain."

"But there are other ways to get infected. Not just with a bite. Solanum is still activated for 48 hours after a zombie's termination. If the terminated zombie's brain is exposed, touching it will infect you. And if you slaughter it up close, wear something protective, for if you're splattered with a zombie's blood, that also gives you the virus."
She put the book down. "But there are symptoms, so you know if you've been infected or not."

If you get bitten by an undead Octoling or Inkling, you're as good as dead. And they are quite difficult to put down.

"It's the exact same with these zombies. Currently, there's no possible way of stopping the virus from getting to your brain after it's entered your bloodstream. After contamination, it's better to commit suicide rather than let it go to your brain."

"The symptoms correspond with the virus, but it takes a while to get to the brain, depending on the person.
'Hour 1: Pain and discoloration (brown-purple) of the infected area Immediate clotting of the wound provided the infection came from a wound).
Hour 5: Fever (99-103 degrees F), chills, slight dementia, vomiting, acute pain in the joints.
Hour 8: Numbing of extremities and infected area, increased fever (103-106 degrees F), increased dementia, loss of muscular coordination.
Hour 11: Paralysis in the lower body, overall numbness, slowed heart rate.
Hour 16: Coma.
Hour 20: Heart stoppage. Zero brain activity
Hour 23: Reanimation.' " She read from the book.
"And the reanimation is when the Solanum replaces the brain."

With the virus inside of Inkopolis, once you get bitten, you are just f**ked. Doesn't matter on how good your immune system is, or your health, or anything. And here is the worst part: The virus can jump from Inklings and Octolings, directly to humans, so yeah.

"Hm," She started walking back and forth. "The inkling and octoling virus has the same effects as this one... AND it can spread to humans... perhaps... They are the same virus! Solanum! Yes!" She exclaimed. "Tell me, how did your virus start?"

Terrorist act, Anime Cartel.

Yup, they tried to take the entire populus, that didn't work, so their next plan was to infect everyone, but the virus was locked in the quarentine zone, the mutants however....

"Hm...."

The mutants are outside of the city, we are all doomed.

"Not as we are doomed in this world. The Zombies here will not stop until you are eaten," she said as a couple of zombies gave their deep, hellish moan as they scratched at the door. "They have the same eyesight of any normal human, along with hearing, smell, taste - to some extent - and... Touch? Zombies have no physical sensations, and quite possibly a sixth sense. Zombies also have no form of healing whatsoever, nor do they have any actual digestion.
Although Zombies have no memories, emotion, communication skills, or anything else, they do have, unfortunately, what seems to be a never-ending supply of stamina. Zombies are persistent, and will NOT stop until they get their food."

Nor will the mutants, they stopped a military evac AND a firebombing squad. A f**king FIREBOMBING SQUAD!

It was actually quite easy. There were some zombies that found you along the way, but you kept running, and made it in about 7 minutes.
You approached the door of the iron house...
The door to the building looked like a mini garage door. There was a spray painting of a cartoon zombie with a red X over it, and the words "Zombie Proof" over the top. There wasn't a bell of any kind so I guess you just need to knock...?

*I begin to knock on the door*

The door instantly swung up and opened. A pair of hands pulled you into a dark room, and the door closed and locked behind you.

A light suddenly flashed in your eyes, as you hear quiet footsteps walk around you.

The light got moved away from your face, revealing a 17 year old girl.

"Who are you and what are you doing," she asked quickly.

*I reach for my crafted Shotgun*
I'm trying to survive, if you are here to interfere with those plans, I will see it that you will be killed.

She raised an eyebrow. "Survive? Do you know who I AM?" She asked as she smacked the shotgun with the katana, knocking it out of either person's reach.

So, you're trying to interfere with my plans to survive?
*I grab an Elemental Katana*
Then I shall interfere with your plans of killing me.

"I have no intentions on killing you unless you get infected or try to harm me otherwise!" She pointed the katana at you, but she didn't look like she was actually GOING to attack.

Then why did you strike first?

"Then what?"

*I'm silent for a few seconds*
Firebombing. It's the only way to get rid of them. For good.

"Well." She went to a cabinet, and opened it, and pulled out a LITERAL FIRETHROWER

"Then I'm getting the job done before then!"

Either way, if the military finds no survivors, with or without zombies in it, they move onto firebombing.

She growled, then turned and looked as her (own personal)elemental Katana.
"Someone might die, then. And it's NOT going to be me..."

Welp, guess it's going to me who may die first, mainly because of my poor health skill. And because I'm fragile as glass.

She laughed. "I bet I'm more fragile than you! Besides," She grabbed the katana and pointed at you. "With practice, you can conquer anything! How else are we still here? While the Earth gets swallowed by Zombies?"

I could always talk to Cam to go to Harran with him some day.

She raised an eyebrow as she lowered the blade. "I personally know not of these humans."
