What're your thoughts on masks and natural immunity? Are your thoughts influenced by the media? | I could not care less about what the media tries to scare into people or what my parents say on the matter, just get rid of the damn masks I went (and still am) like 7 months not wearing a mask and only got covid because of some mouthpiece swapping mishap in my school band...I didn't get it from anything else (it was confirmed by my band mates as thats how I got it. Someone who had covid used my mouthpiece and put it in my case) The possibility of anyone under 18 to die from covid is lower than possibly getting struck by lightning. The masks don't help at all since once u get covid, u develop natural immunity, making a mask practically useless at that point. im sorry that its very sad to say but as a trump supporter, you might have just a slight problem. my father got covid because he didnt wear a mask

Honestly, idk what political party im affiliated with. I just think society should be run by common sense and not by corruption.

Yea your father got covid right? Has he got it again?

I'm basically saying that sure, people will still get it. But with the human body's natural immunity it uses after it recovers from a virus, it makes masks even more useless to those who have recovered from covid

I'm tired of hearing about people who have been vaccinated TWICE, had covid, and a strong immune system (and their young age) being forced to wear masks at work

I can understand why older people and those with weakened immune systems have/choose to wear them, but not young people who have probably the strongest immune systems to ever exist

The fact that the economy got screwed when we locked down over a virus that is like the flu shows that our leaders are making very unwise choices in our government on this matter

Here's a thought, how about make it so that people have a choice whether they wear the masks or not regardless of being vaccinated or not

The only drawback would be maybe a slight spike in covid cases. HOWEVER, this goes for almost every virus, once the people recover from covid, they attain natural immunity and have an even lower chance of getting covid and an even lower chance of dying from it

The natural immunity would in the long run slowly make the covid infection rate go down more than masks could
