i live in queensland in summer cyclones hit up north and stampede south dissolving around 1770 and the (still severe) storm hits bundaberg (ya know bundaberg ginger beer? its my favourite and i can get it hot off the production line) there are floods balckouts and one time in january 2013 6 F*CKING TORNADOES

When theres a weak storm, go outside and slowly work your way up stronger storms until its actually dangerous (winds past around 30 kmph or potential flood levels of rain) and it will ease you in.
