no studying makes you fail (eg1)
studying prevents you from failing (eg2)
if we add eg1 and eg2 we get no study +study = fail + no fail
(if no studying is no effort its nothing) however studying is effort so it counts = fail (from the last line) (no fail = nothing to lose meaning nothing) so if we remove the nothing's we get study = fail
