It introduces some new characters, like Kris, being the character you play as, Ralsei, the prince of the kingdom of darkness (He's the one in the meme too), Susie, the monster who eats c h a l k as a snack and threatens to bite your face off but then joins your gang, then we have Lancer, the one who is at first the bad guy but joins your gang later on, etc.
It's a pretty cool game, you should play it!
