Image one: Woman works until her dying days. Never made it to the 1% that the right-wing claims you can get to if you work hard enough.

Image two: The claim by the right wing that states if you work hard enough, you can make it to such wealth.

Image Three: Mental gymnastics used to combat this imbalance of wealth by the bourgeoisie when they controlled the church and the king to write this passage down.

Image Four: Cutting question asking "So, they recognized you won't ever be as rich as you like, so they use sentimentality of family etc. to assure you that you find your family (your wealth) in heaven." Sucks for the guy that never knew his family, never started one of his own, but lived a godly life, but never "made it."

Image Five: Guy realizing he's been duped by the bourgeoisie.

Sorry dude, I just don't get it. Why specify that the Right wing saying 'work work work' is white? Who thinks the rich transcribe the Bible? Who thinks working hard, but not smart, at the Burger King grill for fifty years will make you the next Jeff Bezos?

It just seems like a lot of venting.

I'm not the one spouting the propaganda; I'm piecing it together.

I didn't say it makes sense. That's the point of the meme.

Yeah but usually memes are funny. This one is just...well it's an empty frying pan.

Memes don't have to be funny.

A meme is a virally transmitted image embellished with text, usually sharing pointed commentary on cultural symbols, social ideas, or current events. A meme is typically a photo or video, although sometimes it can be a block of text. ... The more a meme is spread, the greater the cultural influence it has

I'm aware of the definition. I'm giving my opinion, though.

Kay? I wasn't aiming for it to be funny.

I more aim for "Oh yeah, they *are* gaslighting us."

As my approach has always been one of the defensive in countering the rhetoric they started throwing at people in 2015.
