You are right, the Bible is very clear on how to get to heaven. But also there are scriptures that point to babies and those that do not understand what sin is (intellectualy disabled) and what Jesus did. Babies and children that inherit the promise land and the Kingdom of God. Examples of Jesus saying that those who are blind are not guilty(someone who does not know of sin and salvation) and those who can see are guilty (for they are accountable and know sin and salvation)
Deuteronomy 1:39 And as for your little ones, who you said would become a prey, and your children, who today have no knowledge of good or evil, they shall go in there. And to them I will give it, and they shall possess it.
John 9:39-41
Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.” Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains"
