Roleplays that everyone is free to join don’t work very well in a complex rp that doesn’t work if character’s don’t meet specific requirements. Also not everyone really can roleplay well in a serious roleplay environment

I used to do everyone can join roleplays but now I think I’m going to start restricting them tbh

thats fair, nowadays everyone is either a: just doing it for a joke. b: just wants an excuse to online date pretty much, or c: is extremely op and ruins it for everyone. its been too long since i've seen a actual good rp that doesn't die in new almost immediately.

as ive said, that's subjective. from my view its no there isn't much good rpers, but i have a very strict view on what makes a good rp.

I mean, some parts of what makes a good RP and a good roleplayer are objective, but you are right that some parts of it are subjective.

exactly for example, i may find it distasteful to erp, or powerplay, but others may find entertainment in these formats.

I'm pretty sure the MVPs like Jade, Ashely, and Mav are the only reason this stream still has story-oriented rp's. Maybe I'm alright but I'm online less often.
