Straw man arguments are arguments where you put words in someone's mouth to make a statement reflective of your position. While yes, I might as well have said that, I didn't. Just because you don't agree with what I said doesn't mean you get to fill in the blanks on what I don't wish to comment on.
If your argument is on potential of life, you need to consider that not every life is good. Maybe the mother aborted a serial killer, a rapist, or a politician. Most people who become doctors or extremely successful have two parents, already have money, and are not beset by life's challenges. Women abort for many reasons, one of them being that they can't give the child the life they deserve.. If you're worried about the potential of life, you're probably against masturbation, oral sex, and anal sex, right? Because oral sex would then be cannibalism and tote throwing away billions of spermatazoa when it only takes one to fertilize an egg.
By the way, the dead don't have feelings. Just the sentimental attachment of your memory of the dead. The difference between that and an unborn fetus is, the dead have lived a full life and have had feelings. A two month old fetus literally can't feel or perceive anything. At all. It's just living tissue like a muscle.
