6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you." King James version, the most accurate translation according to my church, which I strongly believe to be true.
Verse 4 is an important one. He's speaking to rich men who did not pay the people they hired, leaving them to starve. "Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth" It's a far cry from today's society where you will face legal trouble for withholding people's wage from them. Also, in that time, many rich people surrounded themselves in their riches out of vanity at the expense of the people they stole it from. That's not something that happens with most rich people in today's world. Misusing scripture like this, along with likely trying to author public policy on it (which is most likely what will happen since it's a Tumblr post) is a form of heresy.
