But before you commit to anything go to guitar center and play some guitars or mess around to see if you like it. No point in buying something you don’t use

If it’s for just putting lyrics to music I’d personally recommend an acoustic guitar. But that’s just me, and electric is nice but you need an amp and cables and stuff

Last night(ig I did say that in this post)I met a blues player and we jammed for an hour or so and we played acoustics and electrics. Very fun. The main thing you need when learning acoustic is just your basic chords and maybe a few scales

My brother has a guitar though i dont know if he'd let me use it

he doesn't even know how to play it at all and he spent like 200 dollars on it

My first one(got it last year)was $180 and I got it for my bday. It’s nice but there’s better for sure
