Gale:*watching from nearby* Uh?

Claire walks into the alleyway and Kat follows her. They both do not notice Gale.

*Gale just follows them* Better not be doing anything stupid

There is a portal at the end of the alleyway which Claire quickly shoves Kat into, then steps into the portal.

Gale:*appears next to the portal* Warning ignored. *he runs into the portal before it closes*

Gale is in a pitch black area. He can hear voices coming from somewhere.

Gale:*walks towards the voices* I can hear it..

A purple fox walks out of the shadows and near Gale. It radiates a dim purple light.

Gale:Good or bad sign...which one could it be...

It opens its mouth and makes a little noise, then retreats back into the darkness.

Gale: *pulls out his 2 knives, and slowly follows it* Hm..

Far off from Gale, Kat is struggling against a dark mass wrapped around her, almost like a cocoon. Claire laughs at her. "Where are they? Tell me where they are." Claire floats towards Kat.

Gale: Well called. *he runs towards Kat* Hey! That's enough from you now lady.

Claire turns around, sneering at Gale. "Ugh, I knew I should've closed that portal earlier. Now I have vermin." Two balls of energy appears on her palms.

Gale: *laughs* Damn, what a way to talk to a f**king 10 year old eh? Kids are rather interested by lots, it's their nature. *he gets in a stance*

Claire floats upwards and fires an orb at Gale.

*Gale redirects it with a knife and slashes it back at her*

She slides out of the way of it as it floats into the darkness surrounding them.

Gale: ok? That it?

Claire sighs angrily, then a shadow humanoid steps into the area, from the same direction the orb had floated in. It looks around 5'10 and it holds a sword. "So stubborn..." Claire turns back to the child while the humanoid charges Gale.

Gale: *shrugs* kden-

(Cory watches from a distance.)
Cory: U-u-umm...

Claire leads the girl into the alleyway, and a cut-off scream is heard.

(Cory runs to investigate.)

There is nothing but a purple swirling portal, which is slowly closing.

(Cory jumps in.)

Cory appears in a pitch-black room.

Cory: H-huh?

He can hear yelling from somewhere distant...

(Cory follows the yelling.)

After a few seconds of walking, he sees Kat wrapped up in a shadowy cocoon of some sort, meanwhile Claire is interrogating her. "Where is she?!" She screams in Kat's face.

Cory: H-HEY!

Claire turns her head and looks at Cory. "Damn...knew I should've closed that portal sooner." She mutters to herself before floating upwards. A ball of shadow-like energy forms in her hand. Claire's purple eye begins to glow.

Cory: O-oh no... I f-f**ked up...

She aims the energy ball at Cory, but hesitates. "...You know what? You seem like you would be of good use to me. Talk to her while I go...do things." In an instant, she disappears in a cloud of dark smoke.

(Cory nervously smiles.)
Cory: H-hey...

Kat doesn't respond, only struggling against the trap.

(Cory tries to break her free.)

It seems to tighten when Cory touches it. Kat struggles once more and then looks at Cory. "Hi."

Sean: *walks over* what’s going on?

Claire turns to Sean, an annoyed expression on her face. "I doubt that's any of your business, eh?"

Sean: well let’s find out then?

(He means to tell him what’s going on anyway

"Again, it's not any of your business." She glares at Sean.

Sean: Your acting quite suspicious

"How so? I just don't want a complete stranger to know what's going on here."

Sean: You are trying to convince that kid into going into that alleyway

"And how, might I ask, does this concern you?" As they talk, Kat looks into the alleyway and runs into it like she saw something.

Sean: I have at least a little concern *cough* for the safety of others *looks in the alley
