Troll Face

I'm shocked this hasn't sparked any discussion regarding the Ways. Interesting.

Atheists won't troll streams that have diligent moderators. "Christian Clean Meme?" If you want that kind of attention try "Politics Too", or some other left-of-center political stream.

I apologize, the meme is misleading. My goal was not to troll anybody, but rather to humorously point out the Ways and spark discussion regarding them.

I didn't say YOU were trolling, but atheists. . . I've encountered a fair number of that flavor of trolls on different forums elsewhere. Anyways, if you are looking for that kind of debate from a non-believer I don't think you will have much luck in this particular stream. That's all I meant.

Atheists online often seem to be very fond of trolling. Trolling is only really enjoyable when it is justified and smart- such as counter-trolling an individual online or dragging out a conversation with a scammer only to cease contact.

Such as stating a contrary opinion (as a Catholic) on a "Protestant" Christian Meme. Lol. You want to get into a protracted "scripture war" with a determined evangelist who moderates here, he is ever willing to do his level best to make you see the error of 'your' ways. Ha.

Are you referring to Victor? I know my limits, and I can't beat UniformVictor in argument. The man is smart, and he is pious, moreso than I am in my own right.
Or you refer to CULE_DOOD, who is also very intelligent and faithful. I can't defeat either in argument- rather, I only seek to put in my two cents. They are both very determined, and the greatest of my respect goes out to those men.

"UV". He is very tenacious if you are up to it and have more than a few hours to spend.

"The First Cause" argument in a nut shell. I shall wade no further in because I am not well schooled in philosophical arguments. Anselm's Argument for the existence of God is a mind bender for me. I get it (sort of).

The Five Ways are simply Aquinas saying "things need to happen to things for that thing to have happened" which is technically true. I recall two Ways, those being Motion and Creation. I like Motion. It states that any object in movement must undeniably be moved- therefore, there was a force somewhere that broke that mold. Something had to create its own movement. God.

"The Prime Mover". . . otherwise there would be an infinite regression. . . a lot of people don't see the problem with that.

Not sure if you're in support of the argument or not.

The Prime Mover or First Cause Argument is what I 'understand' best, intuitively. Trying to explain it, not so easy.

It's not easy to explain, but by far the easiest to comprehend. In the greatest simplicity I can manage, it states there is an exception to the rule.

And then throw in Pascal's Wager. . . It actually seems "unreasonable" to be an atheist. A so-called "strong" atheist.
