Honestly, I don't blame people for being religious. I have no hate towards the people, but more so the religion it's self. Especially because a lot of religious people don't follow absolutely everything. I don't mind at all if somebody has a belief, as long as they aren't being a b**ch about it.

I hate people who are like that about religion.

yeah, I live right next to a church, and people often say I'm "the devil" or "a demon" so now I just embrace it to watch them go ape s**t over something as dumb as somebody not believing in some dude in the sky lmao

I have several churches and Christian schools near my house lol. I live right down the road from a few actually and I can walk to them. Of course I don’t go to them tho. I’m not religious, the only time I go to temple is when it’s an important holiday (what we consider important, something like Yom Kippur) and we all have off from school. I can’t walk to temple tho. Lmfao. I really don’t believe in religion much either.

I only went to a church once in the past like 5 or whatever years. It was cuz my grandma died, and honestly it wasn't even worth it because they splashed "holy water" on me and it felt like I was having an allergic reaction or something bc it itched and burned. And I didn't even care about my grandma, she was annoying.

I feel like religion only damages society and divides people, churches should need to be payed for, I shouldn't be able to fund a church then live tax free for the rest of my life because "its my religious right" and "god said so" And they generally hold back advancements in society we need, like further improving equal rights, but I guess it's their religious right to harass me on the street for being gay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Another good reason but that entirely depends on who runs the church, the temple/school I used to go to usually stood up for gay rights. However, bullying for other reasons is pretty common there (I know this because I was bullied there). A lot of the time, it depends on experience as well. We both had bad experiences, so we don’t really feel like we need religion, while others feel it’s their reason to live since they had a good experience. Religion is weird, I personally don’t agree with it a lot of the time, and a lot of the things you said in that comment are true. Churches need to be pay for, not simply erected because some sky man had “said,” “yeah I need you to build a church right there, otherwise your gonna go to hell.” People get way too crazy with religion as well. I don’t care much for it most of the time.

Just example text of how I think a person who would go insane over what religion I followed or just stopped being religious would sound like.

I see that pretty well. As an actual christian, at least I have the sense to live without desperately brainwashing somebody towards the Lord's will. I believe God works miracles at his own pace, not how the Son of Man wants to force him to do so. People who do so probably are either still blinded about how unpredictable and efficient God's spirit moves to and fro this earth, or they're just under influence of a false prophet or prosperity preacher in some way.

Exactly, most of y’all are fine, like every religion and group, it’s a small group that gets the big voice and sets a bad stereotype, sometimes it seems like that group is growing too which is not good if it is. Again most people are fine. Every group is gonna have that weird minority that has a loud voice and does bad things making the entire group look bad.

Now the only questions we need answered is, If God is a spirit of all kinds and only anthropomorphized Himself to create humans indifferent to Him, then in an alternate universe, couldn't He have turned into a furry. Milleniums later, how does 'human fandom' sound to you?"
