Depends on the adaptation, I guess. In the original, no. But some people apparently can't make sense of a character that doesn't have a partner and thus we get all sorts of forced "backstories" where every character imaginable is married and has children.

2. It's the one that I have watched the most.

... and those are only the movie adaptations of the original story. Basically, Alice has been a meme for more than a hundred years and everyone put some of their own flavor into it.
