Pre-covid - I was free to do what I want, true freedom (within the bounds of law)
Post-covid - I'm free to do what I'm told, or face punishment under the authority of....of.....nothing

I didn't change. I'm still free. I even give full respect to those who choose to give up their freedoms, because they're free to do it. I do not, however, allow others to give up my freedoms.
