Furret invasion

Tutorial: How To Make Furrets Extinct.
Step 1: Go to the Asteroid Belt.
Step 2: Grab all the Asteroids there.
Step 3: Launch all of them at the Earth.
Step 4: Your Done! No more Furrets!

It didn't work...

If all else fails, put a black hole or neutron star next to earth

Earth was fine. It was protected by the furret shield.

The black hole would rip apart the shield due to tidal forces

As you can see from my scientific diagram, that didn't happen.
