Take empress of light for example

A bullet hell boss that the bullet hell aspect is not even fun
Made my summoner play through not that fun
The good drops are only expert exclusive or really rare
The only reward for killing her enraged is a summoner weapon that actually sucks if you aren't full summoner
The eventide and starlight suck compared to other weapons at that point of the game

I haven't progressed very far in terraria (if that's what you're talking about) so I wouldn't k ow much
