*a young woman walksinto the adoption center, wearing grey pants and a tank top that says MANNCO

The woman can hear children talking and laughing distantly. There's a man up at the front, who looks up at her. "Ah, hello! How may I be of service?"

Trap: I have come to pick up the child I have adopted *hands over the paperwork

He reads the paper over, nodding his head every so often. "Alright, if you'll follow Tiana right here." He gestures to a woman dressed in a white dress.

Trap: *nods and walks over to her

Tiana leads the woman over to two children, Kat, and another, older-looking child who she is hugging.

Trap: Hello there

Kat moves behind the older child. "I think that's the lady. Tell her not to take me, Grant!"
Grant, the older child, just stands there, confused on what to do.

Trap: ._. *walks behind Grant* *to kat* Ok lets go now

She looks up at Trap, an angry frown on her face. "Nuh-uh!" She shakes her head.

Trap: Yes-uh

"No!"

Trap: Kid, lets go, there is now point in you doing this

"There IS a point! I want to stay with Grant!"

Trap: I can’t take care of two of you *takes kats arm* lets go

She yelps and starts trying to pull away from Trap. "I DON'T. WANNA. GO!"

*trap has a tight grip, but isn’t pulling jar anywhere*
Trap: I didn’t spend months doing paperwork for nothing

Kat continues to struggle, absolutely having none of this 'mOnThS oF pApErWoRk' nonsense.

Trap: -./ *starts dragging her out of the adoption center

She screeches, flailing trying to escape.

Trap: *gets in a car and puts her in, then locks the door* can you stop!?

She desperately tries to open the door and goes silent, realizing her defeat.

Trap: *also gets in* look, this is a bad start…

Kat looks at Trap as if she is about to start crying.

Trap: please don’t cry…

The girl hiccups, and tears roll down her face.

Trap: oh lord…

She covers her face with her hoodie sleeve and hiccups again.

Trap: look… I couldn’t have supported two of you, at least not right now

"H-he was going to get adopted too...I just wanted to -sharp inhale.- stay with him until he left."

Trap: oh… well do you know if he will still be around here?

"No." She continues to sniffle and hiccup.

*trap starts driving*
Trap: sorry but… you probably won’t see him again

Her glasses fog up a little bit as more tears fall down her face. She doesn't bother to wipe them, though. She starts sobbing, trying to speak but incoherent babble comes out instead.

Trap: …
*they drive down a road, but then turn into a forest, driving down a dirt road

Kat continues to sob, unaware of where they are now.

Trap: *Stops at a shed, there is a rather large house near it

She notices the car has stopped, but her eyes are still shut. "No!" She blubbers.

Trap: Ok, suffocate to death in the car

"Suffocate?" She pauses to take a sharp breath, then sniffle. "What does that mean?"

Trap: you die because you can’t breath

Kat gasps, scrambles to exit the car.

*scrambling

Trap: the cars on so don’t worry
*trap unlocks the car

She opens the car door and jumps out, taking several breaths of fresh air.

Trap: you were not gonna die, unless I turned it off and locked you in it, which I wouldn’t

Kat glares at Trap, tears still rolling down her face.

Trap: now, please follow me, I don’t want you to step in a bear trap

She nods and stays close to Trap with a bit of resentment.

Trap: *starts walking tot he home

She follows the woman, occasionally sniffling on the way there.

*nothing special smell*

*the arrive at the house

The girl whimpers, taking off her glasses to wipe them with her sleeve.

*they unlock the door and go inside

She puts her glasses back on and looks around.

*a bare hallway with a musty smell

"..." She moves forward to explore.

Trap: go ahead, but stay out of the garage, please

Kat is kind of spiteful, so she goes to search for the garage door.

Trap: *isn’t going to stop her*

She eventually finds it and opens it, looking inside.

*it seems to be turned into a work shop, with weapons hanging ont he walls, parts strewn about, bear traps, something that looks like a small generator, a robot head on a hook, and a toaster being worked on a table, with it being opened, above the table is a photo withTrap and nine other people

Trap: I guess you went straight too it huh *closes the door when she enters the garage

Kat smirks, wiping her nose.

Trap: I guess you really didnt want to listen huh?

She doesn't answer, but nods in response.

Trap: Oh well... Do you wonder what this all is, or just dont care?

The girl calmly walks over to the robot head and picks it up. "What's this?"

Trap: Well, that is what I spent the last two years fighting before I was fired

"Fired for what?"

Trap: Th person controling the robot army took control of the company I was working for and fired me

"Oh," Kat looks at the robot head in her hands.

Trap: yeah....

Trap: anyways, time to show you your room

Trap: In other words, it was a giant robot with a minigun

"Okay..." Kat places the head back onto the desk she picked it up from and moves towards Trap.

*they walk down the hallway and enter a room with only a bed and closet*
Trap: well your going to have to help me decorate your room

She doesn't respond, but pops her fingers instead.

Trap: if anyone knocks on the door, please dont answer it

"Why?" She tilts her head.

Trap: It just doesnt concern you

"Well, it does since you asked me not to answer it. So I'm gonna answer it!"

Trap: Do you have to be so difficult? I only have a couple rules

Kat puffs up her cheeks and looks the other way.

Trap: Here *They go to the garage and coes back with a butterfly knife, it has a tiny golden robot head tied to it* this is a token of my trust, if you keep my trust, its yours, if you break my trust, its mine again

Trap: *puts that knife in kats hand

She holds it, an uncomfortable frown on her face.

Trap: ...Alright, I have to go work on things..

"Okay!" She stares at the robot head on it.

*it glimmers when there is light hitting it
