Harry Potter thing, it’s been awhile, but it one of the things they invent these magical ear things attached to strings that wiggle under doorways and crap so they can eavesdrop. I still don’t get the joke because I don’t remember it well, but I think that’s the context

What I meant in this meme was that in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Fred loses his ear to the Sectumsempra curse from Snape at the beginning of the book, while he was flying on a broomstick thingy, so clearly that ear fell SOMEWHERE.
