Gumball looked around. He didn't know what had just happened. It was still the middle of the night. He lied back down and tried to fall back asleep. But he couldn't. Before he knew it, the Sun was up. He got up with his two siblings. He felt fear about Anais, what he had done to him in that dream. He tried to keep dismissing it, saying it was all just a dream, but he couldn't shake that feeling. It was the middle of summer, no school, 2 months of relaxing, watching cartoons, shopping, and whatever else you wanted. As he ate breakfast, he sat as far away from Anais as possible. Anais took notice of Gumball not sitting in his normal seat, but dismissed it as nothing.
Gumball went to watch TV. His favorite cartoon, "The Amazing World of Gumdrop" was on. "Hey, Gumball?" He looked to his side. Anais was there. "Can you let me watch Daisy the Donkey please?" Gumball felt uneasy. "Yeah, just take it." He hastily walked upstairs. Now Anais was confused. She didn't even have to use her puppy eyes! Something felt different about him.
