i’ve done my fair share of research, but i’m not by any means an expert, but anyway it’s when a child (i think it can only go up to 8 years old as the age you can be when getting it) experiences large amounts of trauma. and essentially, they create a separate personality to “switch” with them, so that personality endures the trauma rather then the child. don’t get me wrong it’s a real thing, but people on tik tok thinks it’s “quirky” to have DID

Oh... That's very messed up. We have a lot of childhood s*xual trauma (not gonna say s*xual because it makes me uncomfy) from our dad drinking, parents fighting, etc. People faking it is messed up, and we're not one of those people. Don't worry!
