Is doom 2016 not canon? In the codex for Dr. Hayden says that he was born into the rich and powerful Hayden family, and that he was human at some point but had cancer or something so he turned himself into a pickle-

Ok, I think I have it figured out.

Once upon a time, doctor Samuel Hayden was born and existed with people that were probably politicians or rocket scientists(2016 Samuel Hayden codex entry). And samur existed at the beginning of creation or something like that(Eternal codex, book of the seraphs pt 2 i think). Dr. Hayden was cloned by the Seraphim, who then moved his consciousness into said clone(Eternal codex on the Seraphim). I’m not entirely sure how old Dr. Hayden was when this happened, I don’t think it was super young, or super old, probably his early teens, maybe even early 20’s. Shortly after he was crowned king of the science, he discovered argent energy[which the father knew humans were going to discover, so he sent the Seraphim to speed it up, I guess(Eternal codex on the seraphim)] and started to build the argent tower. However, like I said, he just was diagnosed with cancer and turned himself into a pickle-
-And turned himself into a robot. “During the construction of the Argent Tower, Samuel was diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable brain cancer. Samuel was given 6 months to live. As part of the Spartan program, John was essentially kidnapped and trained to be an ultimate badass. To not raise suspicions for his parents he was taken and replaced by a hastily grown- *ahem*- CLONE.

Of course it was the government that cloned Chief, and we know that for a fact. Also halo takes place in like the 26th-27th century I think, and Doomguy absolutely farted on samur in tag 1 which was in the 22nd century, so we don’t even know whether or not he’s still alive by the time halo happens, and master Chief is clearly human in halo, or at least in the books, so it’s unlikely.

…but then again, if samur did live through the can of whoop-ass the doomguy opened on him, he could’ve snatched John’s body. But master cheif isn’t the clone, he is John, his clone is on earth doing whatever he would’ve been doing if he wasn’t kidnapped.
