piper was originally an experiment for breeding different animal species, she was the offspring of a fox and rabbit. A small piece of elastic (like really small) was accidentally added, this gave her the ability the stretch her limbs. She has retractable class due to being part fox. She became sentient and learned human language after spending time with the scientists after two years
