Collan: It's where I was placed when I transferred

"Well, I'll sign ya up for some coding classes. In the meantime, what're the financial issues?"

Collan: My parents where unable to take college because they couldn’t pay, and they couldn’t get any good jobs.. they work all day to just get enough money for food and rent

"Hm... and why did you want to go into those fields?"

Collan: They make a lot of money

"Well why do you want the money?"

Collan: My family needs it

"Alright, now, I'm going to say this, not as a teacher, but as someone who cares about you: Pursue the career that you *want*. You're talented and perseverant enough that, whatever you do, you'll do wonderfully. I'll help out with whatever is needed monetarily. You should follow your heart."

*after class*: "Hey, would you uh... mind staying a little while after this class? Especially considering the only things that are really enriching you right now are electives? There's some more placement tests I think you should do..."

*He sets up college placement tests too, and gives Collan those*

Collan: *does pretty well on them*

"Whoa! You might be able to skip like 3 semesters!"

Collan: *shuffles his feet* Really?

"Mhm! And I'm talking *college* semesters! You'd only pay about 2000 and graduate with an Associate's and credit toward a Bachelor's to boot! Erm, what grade are you, and what career do you want to try to go into?

Collan: I’m I’m 7th grade, I want to do something that gets a lot of money like being a doctor or engineer

"I know that's a bold accusation, but you haven't made a single error and barely pay attention during lectures..."

Collan: I already know everything that is being taught

"Heh. I can relate. I literally completed my homework mentally in the car line back in sixth and seventh grade. So, should I move you up to a more advanced class?"

Collan: As long as it doesn’t cost any extra money

"Mk. I'll give you a few placement tests to complete while I'm giving the lesson. Answer to the best of your ability, and I'll work on logistics from my end."

Collan: *nods eagerly+

*he gives him a laptop to do the tests and continues the lecture*

Collan: *does the tests and gets 100% on each of them*
