Whispers echoed through the forest. "No, no, no! Stop! I don't want this, stop!" A young girl with long brown hair pivoted sharply, her eyes wild with panic. "Oh, but we won't hurt you, darling. It's too late to turn back.. Aren't you tired of this...?" a voice echoed, a faint whisper on the wind. "No! No! I'm fine! I don't care anymore, please just leave me alone!" she sobbed, then turned and started to run. She was dragged back immediately, as if the wind was pulling her.
"Ah-Ah, Fawn, darling. It's not so easy." the voice let out a chilling laugh. Fawn lifted her hand and a white mist swirled around her, "L-Leave me alone! I will use it! S-Stay back!" she said, clenching her teeth. The voice gave a laugh as if this was the funniest thing in the world.
"Darling, I'll just take a new body. You can't kill me... You're stuck here..." the voice drifted off and there was an eerie silence. Fawn turned quickly on her heel, her silver eyes held a determined gaze. She began to run, the white mist streaming behind her. Suddenly a black tentacle shot out and pulled her into the shadowy fog. She gave a muffled scream, her eyes wide.
"This game's not so easy..." the voice whispered, and then the silence returned, Fawn's screams gone.

"Because, Nova...The Council wants you to register your powers." she sighed, her pale golden eyes held so much exhaustion that as Nova stared at her she, too, began to look tired. Nova stifled a yawn, "But..." she mumbled.
"But I don't understand, Star. I already got them registered when I was a kid, didn't I?" Nova growled softly. "well...Yes...But...." Star shifted uncomfortably on the couch, "How many times do I have to tell you? Call me mom." she smiled wearily. Nova frowned slightly, "You're twenty-three, Star. That's only, what...nine years older than me?" she mumbled. Her expression grew equally as awkward as Star's. "You called me Mommy when you were little." Star pointed out. Her voice wavered slightly, "So did Astr
