Kat stares up at Marie with gray eyes.

Marie: uh... you wanna watch coco melon?

"Cocomelon is for babies...I only watch Sesame Street."

Marie: ohok *puts Sesame Street on the tv*

"Yay!" She exclaims, positioning herself in front of the TV.

Marie: ... so you want a grilled cheese

"Yeah!"

Marie: okie *makes grilled cheese*

"Thank you, Miss Marie!" Kat takes the plate and sits down at the nearby dining table. Once seated, she grabs the sandwich with her hands and bites into it.

"I don't know the words, but I know the tune." She hums something that sounds distinctly like Release (from funny funking) "My momma learned that song from somebody else. She won't tell me who, though."

Marie: huh. Sounds familiar. What’s your moms name *continues making grilled cheese*

She waits near the stove, humming a familiar song.

Marie: whatcha singing, Kat?

"A song my momma sings to me--she never tells me what it's called, though."

Marie: how does it go?

"Her name's Natalie...she's really nice to me."

Marie: okay.. *puts grilled cheese on a plate* here ya go

Maryland: Um

Kat sits by the front door.

Maryland: Come in

Maryland: You wanna watch harry potter?

"Harry Potter? What's that?"

Maryland: Its a bunch of amazing movies about magic.

"Magic?" Kat gasps. "Yeah, I want to watch that!"

Maryland: Alright. * turns it on*

"All muggles can't be bad, right?"

Maryland: You cant be sure.

"Why are those grown-ups so mean to Harry?"

Maryland: Because theyre stupid muggles

She watches it, holding her plush bear.

BT-7274: I fail to see how my name relates to a sandwich made of bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes, but you can call me that.

She smiles before asking, "So, what do you want to do?"

BT-7274: There are approximately millions of actions we could preform, most of them are not legal or safe.

"Hmm...is you reading me a story not safe?"

BT: *he put her in the palm of his hand so she could see the book*,

"Oh. Well, I'm not trying to...em--bark you."

BT: Understood.

Kat tries to climb BLT's leg to see the book's pictures better.

BT: Are you attempted to Embark me? You are not the required age. And you are not a certified pilot.

"Embark? If that's a fancy word for 'trying to see the story book better', then yeah..."

BT: It does not.

"What does negatory mean?"

BT-7274: Negatory. marked by or having the nature of negation.

"That's okay..." She reaches up and tries to hand BLT the book.

BT: *he picked up the book, and tried to be able to hold it without crushing it*

"Thank you!" She leans in, looking at the pictures.

Kat blinks. "I'm going to assume that means no..." She skips away, and after a couple of minutes, she returns with a book titled, 'The Rainbow Fish'.

BT-7274: I may crush the book with my hand.
