I need some insight on if anyone else has felt this before. | Ok so story time. Basically me and my friend were hanging out and we agreed that he would watch/read an anime I recommend and vice versa. I am currently watching the anime (what he recommended) and he read what I recommended. When we saw each other again he said he read the first chapter but couldn’t get into it. This for some reason hurt my feelings quite a bit to the point where I actually resent him for it. Keep in mind I’m on the fourth episode of the anime and still going, but he only finished a chapter. You can't worry about your friend not liking the exact same things as you. There is a wide range of good anime and manga out there, but not everyone likes everything or the same things.
Just consintrate on the stuff you do like when you're together. I'm sure there's some shows you both enjoy.
