the book practically is about a country where this is the "Big Brother" which is a dictator and the protagonist realizes his whole life is a lie. it's banned because it would make the citizens of North Korea realize they're in a literal hell. Kim Jong Un wants to blind his citizens, so the book isn't allowed.
