1)I believe there should be more regulation on big business, and less on the general population. It should be against the law to make people sick or rip people off.

2)People should be able to do whatever they want, say and think whatever they want and pretty much live however they want, as long as they are not hurting anybody.

1. Well the first sentence is solidly moderate, but the second one is more of a big-regulation approach. Slightly left.

3. No problem. Basically, do you think it's better to take an, "eye for an eye, take from you what you took from me" approach or a, "Let's solve your problems, forgive, and forget" to given situations.

If you are talking about reparations, I think they only push that nonsense to trigger bumpkins. It's an outdated concept that doesn't really fit in with todays society but It doesn't matter what I think about it, it's never gonna happen. I think bringing it up on the news every two seconds is a good way to get people all riled up on both sides. You know, like critical race theory or defunding the police. In general as far as eye for an eye tooth for a tooth goes, I'm against it. Everyone ends up blind and toothless.

That's a more left-friendly approach, methinks. Arguments for heavier sentences/fines are usually fronted by the right.

According to my totally-accurate-and-trustworthy (definitely) test then, you do align more closely with the American left than the right. I then rest my case that you fall on the left, though that doesn't mean of course you're no different than anyone else on that side. I'm on the right myself, but don't conform to plenty they espouse.

label me if you must. If I was going to label myself I would say I'm a moderate. That means nobody likes me. Where are the fiscally conservative, and socially liberal people at?

It's not a matter of labelling. I vote along my Catholic Faith, not because I particularly care about either side. That means voting to protect the dignity of every human person no matter what, protecting God's earth, and generally working to enable people to live dignified lives. That viewpoint sits on the left side of some issues and on the right side of others. But, because it happens to be a bit more on the right, I am by definition right-wing.

I'm not saying you're choosing to be on the left because you necessarily like the left, but the views you espouse do put you on the left side of the political spectrum in this country. Just how it is.
