Metalcore hatred

Depends on the bands.

Metal to me has a high level of energy, with guitars and drums. But too many metalcore bands just resort to using computer produced sounds rather than being an actual f**king metal artist! Not too mention some female singers that can't do even clean vocals properly.

Signing about evil, satan, etc doesn't make you metal. Hell Edguy plays metal music, but some lyrics and songs are just WTF?

If I wanted to listen to computer generated garbage with autotune voices I could turn to today's rap and pop. Nothing against the old stuff, at least that was actual signing.

Before metal music I listened to country an western (don't ask..) but now even this is no longer truly country, laced with right-wing politics, and no true sound of what country music used to be, fiddles and the steel guitar? No, how about some rap and hiphop for yall (the introduction of bands like Big&Ridge are mainly to blame for this. And cowboy Troy... God why??).

In short, don't call something it's not. Metalcore is it's own musical genre, but it's not really metal.
SO STOP CALLING IT LIKE THAT, PLEASE!

Depends on the band. Sleeping with Sirens and Coldrain are classified as metalcore, but they're really good.

Idk why but one of the the smartest band in the scene is ice nine kills and you should check them out if you haven't heard of them and there last album and newer songs are based on classic horror movies.
