The girl looks up at Blaken. "No--no! I don't...I just..." She takes a shaky breath trying to compose herself. "I think I killed someone."

Blaken:How?

"I don't know! Someone grabbed me, and then I screamed, and then he was on the floor, and then I ran.." Tears still flow from her eyes.

Blaken:Calem down thats how you killed someone by freaking now count to 19.

"But how would I?" She hiccups and covers her mouth.

SHe looks up and begins rapidly speaking, her continued sobbing making her unintelligible.

Bastion: deep breaths

The girl takes a shaky breath, holding her head. "I'm-" She pauses, gulping. "I'm sorry, sir. I'm just really, really scared...me, my momma and my aunts were walking and these people just walked up to us and started trying to...to hurt us. Someone tried to grab me, and then I screamed so loud, they let go. I screamed so loud, they were on the ground, not moving. I ran away after that."

Bastion: You’re ok now, do you know where your mom is?

"No, but I ran from over there to get here..." She points down the street. "I could show you the way."

Bastion: yes please, what’s your name?

"Kat." She says, then uses her hands to pull herself up onto her feet.

Bastion: I’m bastion, lead the way, kat!

"Yeah." She follows Bastion, staring up at the cold night sky.

Bastion: *hands her his jacket*

She takes it. "Thanks, but aren't you gonna be cold?"

"Okay!" She starts walking down the street, turning her head to remember where she went.

Bastion: *follows*

After a few minutes of walking, Kat observes her surroundings. "Hmm. Yeah...I have no idea where we are."

Bastion: that’s ok *walks in one direction* well, we’ll have to end up somewhere

Master Chief: why are you crying

She looks at Master Chief. "No! I'm so confused..." Tears continue to run down her cheeks like faucets.

Master Chief: what

*Keeps driving*

The girl continues to sob, holding and squeezing her hair.

*A white sedan drives into a pole and explodes into multiple chickens*

She lifts her head up to watch, making a "huh?" sound.

*The SUV has its hazard lights on*

The child stands up and walks over, looking through the front window. "Hello?!" She screams inside the sedan.

(No response)

"Oh no..." She tries to open the doors to the vehicle.

[Do not approach a burning area]

"Eh?"

*Helicopters and S.W.A.T. vans pull up, with some units carrying assault rifles and others carrying Fire extinguishers*

The girl watches them, confused. She hasn't ever seen a government force as large as this.

*One of the units melees the girl in the back of the head, then they taze her in the same spot the strike was*

She spazzes, seizing uncontrollably from the electrocution.

*The SUV's hazard lights stop and the car drives away*

Señor: Bruh, ¿por qué estás llorando? (Bruh why are you crying?)

The girl watches Senor, an eyebrow raised. She has stopped crying. (she doesnt understand spanish :'))

Señor: Ahh an English speaker nvm what's up kid?

This child hesitates for a moment, blinking. "I don't know...I think I..." She shivers at the thought of it. "I'm not--even sure what happened."

Señor: What the- is that blood?

"Where?" Sweat now rolls down her face.

Señor: Wait no nvm that's just hot sauce from the taco bell

"Oh, hah." She laughs with no real joy.

Señor: Well...do you have any parents or friends?

"Yeah." She wipes the tears off her face and stands up.

"Yeah...I lost them when I ran away from..." She looks at the sidewalk and shrugs her shoulders.

Señor: I see, you know I ran away from my parents at your age and ran a successful taco business soo are they abusive or can we talk to them

"Abusive?" She remains quiet for a moment, trying to remember the meaning of that word. "No, no! They're not mean to me! They're probably looking for me right now.."

Señor: Ahh good to hear! Well let's find em ey?
