Am i wrong------ i mean ik there are SOME bi characters but as a bisexual i feel this is pretty accurate

I think it’s because they might feel that for a bisexual character you need to have two love interests, which might not be ideal for the plot
Now I feel like I should make a bisexual character

lol u should- i agree with u a lot but characters that like one gender, date them then break up and then they date the other gender and are just considered the other sexuality annoys me- i mean its fine if their dating someone they don't really feel attracted to then date the right gender for them and are labeled gay or lesbian but its really annoying when they were attracted to both and then are seen as one or the other- and they don't need to be constantly attracted to both genders- as a bisexual there are times where u feel attracted to only woman or only men or just more attracted to one but at the end f the day i still like both- or i could have a crush on a female and not be automatically gay- i like a girl but also find men attractive- know i'm not saying ur wrong because im sure MANY writers think this way but its just not true- and i think we don't have many LGBTQ+ characters not because of the person being homophobic [Though im sure that is the case a lot] but because of the hate they may riseve [thats spelled wrong lol] and or them being hetero and not knowing how to display that in a non-offensive way- sry for wrinting so much u dont have to read it all lol---

I personally don’t think a character who is LGBTQ has to flaunt it, it can just be a character quirk (like my hypno demon oc being gay, or bisexual if it’s convenient for the plot) or the queen of the sea in my worlds Agretha being lesbian. She doesn’t actually date anyone, she is just lesbian

I’d recommend The Owl House. It might seem like a kids show since it’s animated, but it has a bi main character, a lesbian character, a character with gay dads, and a non-binary character. It’s a great show with a lot of representation!

there is a bisexual, a married gay character that isn’t super stereotypical (looking at you modern family), two latina women, two black men, a character who is obviously bi but presented as straight, and a man who has feminine interests (cooking, sewing, ect)

and that’s just the main characters
