Why the hell do you think we have peace treaties and intervention in wars? Everybody knows if one country attacks another every other country is going to shit fury on them and incompetent leaders still think it's a good idea to go to war to stroke their own selfish egos

Peace treaties and interventions only apply to certain countries. Not all countries in the world agree with us. Lots of treaties we here about are within the United Nations, and not all nations are in that. Many rebelling countries could attack the U.S. and other countries, and without funding for defenses they will probably fall. Weapons alone can't stop an army, and not all treaties and intervention's will have an effect on this. We need to also fund weapon's, because those are part of a military. Whether you disagree or not, countries funding militaries isn't bad and is essential. Most of the money is to tend to soldiers and make technological advances.

Tbh, we're being attacked in another way. Our enemies couldn't defeat us in a war, so they just decided to tear us down from the inside. I really hope ppl see this b4 it's too late, but it may very well already be too latr

i'd rather be safe from attackers the have a full stomach. the U.S. alone struggles with obesity, so I don't think the stomach problem would matter(except for homeless people. at least there are opportunities for them to get food.)
