*He looks over.*

Ray: *sits next to him* U ok?

*hands u an umbrella* here u go *stares up at the rain*

its 11 u know? u got anywhere to stay?

"No... I just came here."

hey i got an extra room at my place u can stay.
but ur eyes tell a story of sorrow. what happened?

"My mom died..."

*she hugs u* im sorry..
ive never had a mom but i can tell it must hurt

*He hugs back and nods*

come on lets go to my house. then i can make u some food and get u a towel

-they walk to her house that is a mansion and ray makes u food and gives u a towel-
by the way. my name is ray in 19. and i work as a model and ceo of a tech company.

*she wakes up and walks down stairs to the kitchen*

*she starts making breakfast and 3 dogs run down from upstairs* hey guys! *she feeds them than goes back to making breakfast*

"Awe, they're so cute~"

*they all run up to u and lick u*

Kay: You alright?

"I guess."

Kay: May I ask what happened? Y-you don’t gotta tell me if you don’t want to! I don’t wanna pressure you into telling me…

"It's okay, I'll tell you."

"My mom died. That's all."

Kay: Oh… I’m so sorry.

*He sighs.*

"It's okay..."

Kay: …

*Silence*

Kay: Do you have any other family..?

"My dad.. But he lives all the way in Alaska.."

Kay: And you don’t wanna move with him or you wanna stay here?

"I can't handle the cold... So I'm staying... But I will visit occassionally-"

Kay: Ah.. Makes sense.

*He nods again.*

Kay: …

"Well, I'm Lucas..."

Kay: I’m Kayla, but you can call me Kay.

*He gently smiles*

"It's nice to meet you."

Kay: Nice to meet you too!

"Okay, I feel a bit better now-"

Kay: Not really. I probably should get home soon..

*They exchange numbers*

Lucas: might grab some food down the street or something idk

Kay: lol, i’m probably gonna go to the park just to get some fresh air

Lucas: oh shoot i lost track of time, i gotta get food now so i can make it to the airport

Kay: Oop lol

Lucas: so i can get home-

Kay: Niceee

Lucas: ima grab food now, ttyl-

*Kay is sitting on a bench drawing*

"I actually didn't realize the restauraunt was right next to the park-"

"Want me to get you something?"

Kay: No, i’m okay.

"You sure?"

"Okay then- I'll be in there if you need me."

*He goes to get food*

*She continues drawing*

*He would grab a good pack of Chicken Tenders and Fries alongside Chips, also grabbing a coke*

*Eventually she falls asleep on a bench*

*He'd look at his food in his bag, and back at Kay*

Mind: I'll just give her my chips-

*He'd write this on a blank piece of paper in her notebook*

*It would then start raining*

*She wakes up*
Kay: Go***amn it…

*She then notices the note and chips Lucas left for her*

Kay: Huh? …Oh. How nice heh.

*It starts raining harder*

Kay: Ugh. I should get home… sadly.
*She begins walking back to her house*

Lucas *text*: Flight got cancelled.

Kay (Texting): Probably for the best, it’d be dangerous flying in this rain

Lucas: Yeah. For some go***mn reason I can't get home for another 2 weeks.

Kay: Two weeks???? Jeez

Lucas: No idea why. It's weird imo.

Kay: Yeah same

Lucas: How u been?

Kay: Been better. Wbu?

Kay: Well i gotta go take care of my siblings
