It's your post. Given your track record of making memes that are factually flawed the onus is on you to defend it.

I don't have any proof it isn't safe. Nor have I ever said otherwise. Personally I suspect it is, which is why I plan to get it in a few months.

My sole reason for not getting it now is because we can't prove it won't cause a side effect down the line like we can with other vaccines because it simply hasn't been around long enough to be observable on that timescale.

It's the same reason I'd not give you my real name and address; you seem like a nice enough person. You haven't done anything to indicate you're untrustworthy. I don't have any particular reason to distrust you. But I also have no proof that you're not a serial stalker. I can't place trust in you because I simply don't know that you WON'T betray it.

Just handing your logic back to you.

My logic is simple. If you're worried about getting sick from a disease, get vaccinated for it. If you're worried about spreading it, isolate or wear a mask. If you're worried about spreading it to anyone in particular, encourage them to get a vaccine as well. If for some reason they can't, then you need to be especially careful around them. If they simply don't want a shot, then it's on them (not you) if they get sick.

In short, protect yourself and do your best to help those about whom you care. Let everyone else make their own decisions in life and deal with their own consequences.
