like i cant stand just leaving the ppolice stream alone just for a while. because each time i do, i miss something cool.

Try taking longer breaks from PPolice and imgflip in general (I understand, it's easy to fall in the imgflip rabbit hole). You did 5 min? Try going 10 min next time. Keep taking more breaks and you'll slowly lose interest. Make sure when you're taking breaks the stuff you're doing you actually enjoy as well
