Like I told you before, Biden is not the problem. It's idiots like Trump who hold indoor maskless rallies with thousands in attendance (as he did yet again in Phoenix a week ago) and other Republican officials who have completely politicized this entire pandemic such that people actually rebel against taking even simple measures to protect themselves and others by wearing a mask or even getting the vaccine because they believe Covid is a hoax, they are afraid of possible side effects, they think the government is trying to microchip them, etc, etc, etc. It's pure insanity.

As of July 30th, the US had 110x the daily infection rate (99,470) of Canada (904) even though its population is less than 9% greater. Canada, unllke the US, accurately perceived Covid as a national health crisis and no political party ever tried to exploit it for their own aims. They all banded together and co-operated to defeat it.

Maybe biden should step down if he is going to handle covid so poorly.

You can't blame Biden for this. This is due to the messaging of the GOP and their media mouthpieces on Fox, etc, who for months have played politics about Covid and getting the vaccine.

Notice that in the United States it's everywhere with immediate access to the wide full open southern border full of unvaccinated illegals that Biden, Harris, and Pelosi are letting into the nation.

Oh FFS... if I were ever sleazy enough to prey upon naive, trusting and gullible individuals such as yourself who appear to be ready and willing to spew political propaganda, I'd keep you in mind. Unfortunately, I'm not that type of person.

Canada may be a wide open country but 90% of Canadians live within 100 miles of the border. The difference is that there was no politicization of the virus or getting the vaccine in Canada. Every political party was onboard with the same messaging from the very first day telling the public... its highly contagious, it affects people differently, can be deadly to those with health issues, and that immediate action was needed to prevent it from spreading and overloading the health system.

The country went into a two month lockdown between March and May 2020, with everything being closed except for essential services. Those that could, worked remotely from their homes. Those that couldn't do that or go to work at all because their companies were shut down, were provided $2,000 per month government aid.

By summer 2020, mask wearing was mandatory in all indoor locations with limitations placed on the number of people allowed inside a store at any given moment. No gatherings - exceeding 6 people - were permitted either indoors or outdoors. Those rules remained in place for an entire year. It wasn't until June 2021 wherein over 50% of the population had been vaccinated that restrictions began to ease up. The country is still not fully back to normal, as the easing of the rules are being done in a step by step manner but it is expected to be by September 1st.

Canada was smart in its handling of the pandemic. The US has been utterly stupid in theirs.

Do you know exactly how many immigrants have tested positive for Covid? Don't bother trying to answer that because it's a rhetorical question. Of course you won't because you're not interested in learning facts. FYI... it's less than 10%.

FEMA administrator, Robert Fenton, reported to the House Appropriations Subcommittee during a DHS hearing earlier this year they had seen "less than 6% positive right now coming across the border".

John Hopkins University data shows the percent positivity of COVID-19 tests in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas to be 2.7%, 1.9%, 2.1% and 7.2% respectively.

Are you really unaware of the multiple detention centres in various states that are holding those individuals or the monitoring systems in place once they are released?

Astounding how you completely ignore facts that are presented to you but remain fixated on the immigrants as if they're the primary reason why the US has the Covid problem it does. While they may be a contributing factor in the bigger picture, they're not solely responsible for the outbreaks across the country.

Those that are being held in various holding facilities are being tested for Covid and placed into quarantine should they test positive. Since May of this year, the government is also vaccinating them prior to their release.
