This was our last day at the gulf before we went back home, and we rented a boat. There was a video at the beginning before we got on the boat explaining what we should and shouldn’t do. They specifically said multiple times “no refunds” then we went out, got an hour from the marina, and the boat said the motor had overheated. We sat there in the middle of the bay we were going through for five minutes, and then called the people we rented it from. They told us to just head back to shore, and we didn’t get to where we were trying to go to. It took us double the time to get back because we got stopped every few minutes. Then, we got back, asked for a refund, and they told us that they weren’t going to give us one. They said that they would let us get a boat for free next time, but this was the last day that we would be here for potentially out whole lives, so now we basically got scammed and wasted 3 hours of our lives.
