Until fairly recently I thought the boogaloo was a nonsense white trash fantasy. Nowadays I think it might be going down.

It's sort of like unite the right, where all the white supremacists come together in a violent uprise to take over the government. I think the Oklahoma City bombing was because of that.

boogaloo is mostly a joke; it basically means end-times actions. However, there are a few on the far right who do believe it's real, now, and must be acted upon.

An example of the joke: Whenever some politician makes an anti-gun comment, a popular joke in response is, "It's boogaloo time." Obviously nobody plans on escaping into the Rocky Mountains with weapons and survival gear to wage guerrilla war, but joking about it is funny.

I see what you're saying, and I use to think it was a joke too. Sort of the way Obama thought Trump was a joke. He literally laughed at Trump and I was disturbed by that because I thought he should have been worried.

To be fair, I laugh at Trump all the time. Usually it's out of good fun, but the point is that his, "You're wrong." tone makes me grin whenever I hear him speak.

I laughed at Trump too. When Obama laughed at him though I had this sinking felling and I thought to myself, He's not taking this seriously and they are going to lose. To me it was a very bad sign. The whole term of Trumps presidency made it seem like he was hemorrhaging support, but actually he was getting more popular. The obamas the bushes and the Clintons all acted shocked about Trump, like they didn't set the stage for him or something.

That really wasn't why he won though. What the Obama's, Clintons, all the establishment on both sides failed to recognize is that Trump's raw, bulldog persona resonated with a huge swathe of America that felt crushed and left behind by Washington. Clinton only won the popular vote because big cities vote liberal. The majority of the country wanted something fresh and new. Trump gave them that.

The fact Clinton is criminal scum in the eyes of most didn't help her either.

But then 2020 came around and we saw an even greater counter-reaction to Trump than the wave the propelled him into office.

The last eight years of voting have been emotional, not really "political" in the sense they were largely based off policy.

I for one just want fiscal conservatism and a society that respects everyone....it's been a tough few elections.

I can't find anything I disagree with in that statement. I never stop being shocked at how many people like that man and how much they love him. What really pisses me off is the fact I love all Americans and I feel like he's dooping them and turning them on each other. Sure Biden is more popular, but people don't love Biden the way they love Trump and he's lying to them. It's eerie.
