Here’s one I just made up. (For me, can be used in reverse idk.)
So say I have a future boyfriend (I don’t yet) coming over to my house and my parents don’t know I’m gay yet, so I tell them that my “girlfriend” is coming over for dinner, and just as he pulls in the driveway I just say, “oh yeh did I say girlfriend? I meant my boyfriend.” And then awkwardly make my way through the rest of the evening. (I don’t have past there planned)
