So, you're saying in all cases, the same person whose "identity is confirmed at the point of registration" is always the same person who shows up to vote? Also, where you live, how does one prove their identity when registering? Photo ID? Passport? Other?

Pretty much. I can't think of a single time when the poll officer frowned and said "according to this, you already voted" nor have I ever had a phone call saying "there's another person claiming to be you, what's that about?"

You can google registration procedures fairly straightforwardly. Why on Earth are you wasting our time asking me that?
