In fairness, he makes a pretty dang good pillow and built an awesome business out of it.

The average person is smart enough to decide whether they want to pay a certain $$ amount for something or not...

Point being, a scam is hardly what I would call an "awesome" business. He will end up losing it all like his freak buddy trump.

How is it a scam? Are companies suddenly required to sell individual units of cheap garbage for bottom-barrel prices?

Two for one deals are quite common though.

I seriously don't understand how anyone can think it's a scam. Obviously a company makes money off such a deal or else they wouldn't offer it. Anyone who fails to recognize this, plain and simple, is a bonehead.

Ah, but that's less an issue with offering two for one as a deal (which was the seeming target of your complaint) and more one with advertising by the company in general.
