These people make the sound effects you here on film.
To get an authentic sound of someone being stabbed - they use a cabbage ! :~)

Although technically not a sound effect, That 'noise' has traveled through time and I think it is what makes the movie so great !

The violin could also be used to accompany a girl’s scream for a more dramatic effect. If you ever get really into mixing audio, Boom Library has a lot of awesome sound effects.
