I used to cook 'em in a pressure cooker with an onion inside and you're right - They do need 'some' salt !
I also remember having a saucer by my plate to spit out the occasional bit of lead shot ! :~)

Ok I had sea pigeon but that is just a nickname for Seagull I think. Lol And I don't remember how I got it it just was there cooked and I was drinkin! lol

I can't remember what it tasted of .... too many years have past :~)

You would know if it was bad. We remember the bad junk so we don't ever eat it again. Lol
