Not all are like that, is just amourshippers that seem to be more toxic than others. Also, not sure if you mean Pokemon ships, or ships in general. I don't really like shipping in Pokemon, I have 1 ship, and that's about it.

Also, it took 44 episodes for Ash to get 3 badges in Kalos while Ash in Unova got 3 in literally half of that time
